Damage caused during construction process is killing trees at an alarming rate, and it becomes an even more serious problem in small lots undergoing redevelopment as in many of our western suburbs. The worst part of this new “disease” is its insidious nature—trees may appear to have survived well, only to inevitably decline after three or five years, often then completely changing the character of the landscape.

Our unusual, intimate knowledge of the complexities of tree biology, our understanding of the New England climate demands and the requirements of the soil are essential elements to providing the right “prescription” to treat this new disease.
