Our Roots Go Deep

The roots of our company go all the way back to 1938, when Mike Hartney started Hartney Tree Surgeons, Inc. In 1976, Hartney Tree merged with Greymont Tree Specialists to form Hartney Greymont.

In 1988, the ownership of Hartney Greymont passed from Robert Greymont to its employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Today, Hartney Greymont is proud to be a thriving, local, employee-owned company.

Our mission is to provide the best tree, landscape and lawn services to our clients while ensuring a safe and rewarding working environment for our employees.
